All in all, a good experience...

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
Have lived here for one year - but only had a nine-month lease.
the apartment is nice, the complex in maintained well, and the staff was very responsive to any mainainence issues - usually addressing them the same day.
A few minor gripes and advice: first, a lot of complex maintainence - paving, painting stairweels and common areas - was done in a manner that was slightly disruptive to living there. But, I would rather live in a place that does more maintainence than less.
Also, during our stay, they switched from providing water, to billing each unit for their use. To do so, they hired a third party firm to handle billing. that firm charges an additional fee to do so - thereby making warter more expensive than what the city charges for it.
Advice: my wife and I made a mistake by not signing a longer lease. When our 9-m,onth lease ran out and we went month-to-month, they kinda stuck it to us - charging an additional $100 a month for not being under contract. but any contract under seven months has the same fee.
Having said all of that, the complex is very nice, two swimming pools and the place is very clean.
All in all, it was worth the money.
