I've been living here for about 7 months now and decided to wait to write my review until I was here for awhile. The apartment complex is well landscaped, and the upkeep is good. The location is what makes this apartment ideal for someone who likes to be close to a little bit of everything. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, which is a big change for me coming from up north where the people are quite different. When I first started looking into apartments in this area, I had some of the strangest request such as I need an apartment that faces the southern sky. LOL. The staff here made it a point to get me an apartment that faced the southern sky, without a fireplace and the carpet color of my choice. I'm very picky, and the fact that they handled all of my request in a professional manner, with very short notice made me a very happy lady. The staff also gets kudos for helping me adjust to my new area. Since I didn't know anything about the area or anybody the girls in the office made sure I knew where the grocery stores were, which grocery stores were cheaper, where to buy clothes, and even which areas to avoid. They even give you coupons. Now onto parking, noise, etc. Parking throughout the community is average, and it really depends on where you stay in the community whether you will have issues. Noise is not a big issue, but I have 2 dogs and some loud neighbors. So every time my neighbors decide to have a conversation outside their apartment I hear barking, what they're talking about, and that can be quite annoying at 1 2 3 in the morning. However before they moved in it was much more quiet. As with any place you live, people can make it an enjoyable place to live, or people can make it a living H E double hockey sticks. Grounds are well kept. I like the fact that there is only one garbage area because it keeps the outside from looking like trash. Downside is if you are handicap I can see it being a big issue unless you have good neighbors. Safety, I feel like I can walk my dogs at night without stabbing somebody, and the gates (that are often broken, or open) give you that extra false sense of security. Construction is good for the price. They offer great square footage, and nice layouts. I just wish my bedroom was not where the stairs are because I can hear people going up and down. Maintenance is great, like I said before I'm very picky and so far when I've needed something simple done like patching the wall up, changing locks, or fixing my dripping sink the office always sets an appointment that works for me. Staff is great, if they go under new management or the people here quit I just pray the new people are as friendly. Oh I forgot I was at the office paying my rent one day, and said my dishwasher sucks, and the young lady had maintenance come and fix it right away. I'm very grateful for the staff that works here. Overall I give this place two thumbs up. Great Location, small but nice gym, two pools, a lake with fish that don't bite (I'm not very good at fishing), a cool tennis court, and a bark park to let Fido run wild. Oh they even send out monthly newsletters with a coupon for the $5 papa johns pizza cart that comes to the community. I love this place, and I won't move until I buy my first house. Hope this was much more detailed than some of the reviews people give.
