Disgusting place to live

I have been at Abbotts Creek for several months now and I can't be happier than I am moving out. I live towards the back, the only place where you cannot hear the noise of the Interstate 40 traffic nearby. The cigarette smoke from the tenants below seeps thru the bathroom somehow, making going into the bathroom nauseating. The shower is gross no matter how many times you clean it (it is eroding in between where the shower wall and basin meet). The vinyl flooring is coming up in all the corners. The carpets have stains and was incredibly worn when I arrived, and although they claimed it was cleaned, the carpet cleaners must only use water to clean it, instead of an actual carpet cleanser. After 4 months, the carpet still smells of the previous tenants' dog. Apparently the carpet has to have serious holes or enormous stains to be replaced. The sink leaks, the garbage disposal breaks all the time, the dishwasher sounds like a jet plane, the alarm's battery dies in a short time, and there is a mold farm in the A/C unit. The dumpster does overflow with trash often as well as the cigarette butt cans. Some people do not clean up after their pets' waste, leaving you surprises to step in.
On the plus, there is ample parking.
I would not recommend this place.

Living out here has been a pleasure for me. I have only good things to say about this community. I called for maintenance to come fix one thing in my apartment in the last year and it was my disposal. It was fixed and the reason it stopped was because I put something in it that could not be grinded up! |
