I haved lived here for about 2 years. It was great when I first moved in until the new management staff showed up. If I knew that they were going to act rude the way they do I would not have re-signed my lease. Be careful if you write a check to pay your rent. They have lost a check I had wrote before.Just watch out.

Is that they only problems that you have had with them. I am fairly new to the property. They seemed nice to me.

I am the Property Manager for Briarcliffe and I look at this site periodically to see what reviews have been written and what people think about Briarcliffe. I am terribly sorry if anyone on the staff treated you rudely. Believe me, that is not how we treat our residents. I recall the check incident with your apartment. I believe the check was given after the 5th, when checks are no longer accepted and a letter was sent to your door explaining why it was not accepted. There was some confusion as to where your check was placed because I was out the day that your mother came to pick it up. We did have your check, but it was placed in your file so that it would not be misplaced. I am terribly sorry for the confusion. Since that day you put a stop payment, and the appropriate fees were adjusted to your account. We also shredded your check so that it would not be cashed accidentally. I hope that you will continue your stay at Briarcliffe and this one incident will not hinder your opinion of our community.
