Overall, a terrible place to live
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 7/31/2003
Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2003
About six months after we moved into our apartment, our apartment flooded for the first time after a heavy rain. We had about two inches of water on the floor. Lindsey Manor sent carpet people to clean and replace our carpet, but gave us nothing but lip service about fixing the problem. This pattern continued over two years, with the apartment flooding four times total. Each time it flooded, the higher-ups had replaced the management and maintenance people, so they were able to look us in the face and tell us that they weren't aware that it was a problem. Additionally, we have had leaks from the apartment above us in three different parts of the apartment, mice, insects, and two flying squirrels loose in the apartment. The reaction from the ever-rotating staff has always been, at best, apathetic, and at worst, denying and blaming. After talking with other residents who have gotten the same terrible service from the staff[s], we all moved out.
Do not move to Lindsey Manor if you want prompt, courteous service and waterproof apartments.
