I have only been living at Laurens Way for about 3 months. After about a week of staying here, my kitchen drawers began to fall apart. Literally, the nails were out of them and they had collapsed in. It took 3 calls to the office before the maintenance staff came and fixed it. They stated they had to leave because my cat was not locked up. Well, the day that they finally came out, I happened to come home and my cat was out and there seemed to be no problem. After that I had to make a few other service calls, all in which it took multiple phone calls before staff addressed the problems. One day I came home and my radio and TV were on. My cat was gone. After searching for the cat, I called the office. They came with their maintenance staff and did call the cops. They insisted they had not been in. My cat was found in a cabinet. The staff automatically said he got scared due to a huge power surge and got into the cabinet himself. How would they know what my cat would do and how would he get into this cabinet by himself' We found it to be impossible. My radio doesn't come on during power surges, my tv does and my alarm clock was not flashing as it normally would during a surge. After a night of thinking and noticing that there was no way my cat got into the cabinet, I called the office the next day. The manager had a very rude attitude. I called to address my concerns. She stated that she thought I was accusing her staff of coming into my apartment. I infomed her that they were the only ones with a key. She got extremley irrate at this point and said that I could move and pay the remainder of my lease. I have absolutely no problem moving due to the problems that I have had here. Besides horrible staff, the complex is unbelievably loud; waking me up at all hours of the night. The staff says this is just apartment living. Well, I have lived in apartments before and never had these problems. The "gym" they have, should be taken down. I attempted to work out there once and thought the equipment was going to break as I was using it. Cops were repeatedly seen there. In fact, one day I was leaving for a trip and a cop asked my boyfriend if he had seen a woman looking into peoples vehicles. My doors and trunk were opened and he glanced in my car, as if I was the suspect! This is no place to call home. I do understand that things can happen but to treat a tenant that pays on time and only wants to live in a descent environment in the way they have, is not tolerable. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone.

I am not surprised. You should talk to the property manager's boss's boss - -------. Both the Manager and Assistant Manager have anger issues. Did you see the Manager in the local The Slammer magazine when she was arrested? - -Way to represent Drucker and Falk, right?! There's also a large drug crowd in and out all the time too. BTW, according to the police reports, -------- was separated from her husband, walked into their old house and found him with another woman and went crazy! Nice SANE woman there. I have friends that left for the same reasons stated above.
