Pretty good for the price

I have rented from Hunterstone for 2 years and overall I would recommend the complex. There are a few issues which I will explain below, but compared to the other experiences I have had over the years it s a pretty nice place to live for the price range.

First I will start with the good things about Hunterstone - It is a fairly new complex so all of the amenities, appliances, etc. are in good condition. I have a 2 bedroom/2 bath and the apartments are a good size for the price and I liked the layout. Both of the bathrooms are big and there is a ton of closet and storage space. There is also a nice patio with a storage closet.

The few times I have had maintenance issues they were fixed the same day I called and the maintenance crew is really nice. The office staff has always been friendly and they have a lot of community BBQs and activities which is nice.

Now for the bad

My biggest complaint overall is that the noise in the apartments are horrible. I was here while they were finishing the last few buildings and you can tell they were built quickly and cheaply. I ended up on the 2nd floor so I had people above and below me and you can hear EVERYTHING. Every clomping footstep, music, full conversations, and dogs barking. While standing at the bathroom sink you can literally hear the person above you peeing I am not kidding. Don't ever expect a peaceful night in this place.....

The parking is also a complete joke. If you get home from work past 5:30 expect to walk from 2 or 3 buildings over. This is a HUGE pain late at night, in the rain, or if you have packages and groceries to carry in. Unless you have a building way in the back this will never be resolved as the number of residents greatly outnumber the spaces.

There are also a lot of kids in the complex which can be annoying to people without kids, especially if you live below them. They are always running through the parking lot, playing ball near the cars, and loitering in the gym.

Even with all that, they are still pretty good for the price and are relatively safe. Plus there has a lot of growth in the area so shopping is getting very convienent.
