I've lived here for over a year and a half, and love it. The apartments have been recently renovated (none of that 1980's reject brass here!!!), the neighborhood is clean, and the office staff is great. I've had a couple of maintenance issues (mostly with my AC unit), but they're always quick to respond, usually the same day or first thing the next day. For the size of the apartment and the location, I think the rent is pretty reasonable, too.
That said, there are a LOT of kids in the neighborhood, and they love to skateboard and play basketball and football, and they're very noisy (and foul-mouthed, and rude...). However, that's anywhere these days--it's bad parenting, not the fault of the neighborhood.
