Ive lived in cross creek for 2 years now. After looking through some of the negative reviews I knew I had to write a real review, Cross Creek is a nice place to live. The staff is friendly and they listen to you or your problems. They spray for bugs mostly because of those north carolina water bugs that are anoying. The crime is minimal but this is Charlotte, you cant expect it to be perfect. The trash sometimes does overflow with junk that people throw away here and the only reason is because they allow people to throw away couches, chairs, old TVs anything, so it takes a few days for that stuff to disapear. The lawn care is always taken care of weekly by a mowing company. If you dont want to pay $100 more a month in rent for a gated community this is a good place. One thing though, dont leave your laundry in the washer or dryer and go back to your apartment and wait, if your lucky like me, it will get stolen and the camera that is in there is not monitored by the property but by the laundry company. you must work at Cross Creek. that place is the worst place to live. there is alway crime there, what about the shooting death of the taxi cab driver in the parking lot.

If you think cross creek is bad then you might as well leave charlotte. Go move out to a corn field or something that way you don't have to cry about it. Be realistic, y'all have obviously not grown up in a city, go visit Philly...then we'll talk.

Not crying, my brother, just stating facts. I'm from the Philly area, bad spots there too, like in every other state. I'm on an apartment-review site, not a city-review site, and I'm being specific to this complex. People stealin' your clothes and you still defend that crap-hole?
