I just moved in with my family not to long ago, we only moved in because it was to hard to find another apt. on less then 2 months notice during the holiday season from out of town. Compared to the other available apt. this one looked the nicest, and was in a great school district so we took it.
We signed the lease and everything else fell apart. I had to call in after a week just to find out if we got our lease approved, and that took 3 calls just to get someone to answer the phone. Then it took another 2 1/2 weeks and 4 phone calls to Nikki just to find out what our exact address would be, she said she emailed it, but never did. When we agreed to rent here they said they could only show us a 2 bed apt. because ours still had residents living in it. So we agreed to wait to pay the deposit until we could see it. We drove over 3 hours to sign the papers and see the apt. it conveniently was unavailable she told us to come back in 3 more hours, so we went to dinner to kill time, and then at 6pm Nikki called back and said "well its not ready till tomorrow. So we couldn't see the apt. before we had to sign the lease, and pay the deposit. Maintenance is nice and try to be helpful, but they lack the personnel and materials to make a difference.At one time, our closet door fell out on our daughter I called and notified them immediately and after 2 weeks maintenance came in to do some other work when I asked about it, he didn't know anything about my calls and then asked me if I was the one that tried to fix the door with a stapler and duck tape! Our furnace never turns on, we have turn the heat up just to get it on, then it wont turn off and we roast. All the windows are extremely drafty. When we moved in the bathrooms were dirty, and the kitchen floors were so they were filthy & stained beyond words. This is a "pet friendly" complex which is really nice however, they allow Pitt bulls and you begin to despise it when every time you try to walk in the grass, anywhere you step in dog poop! Or your kids do and track it all over the carpet. Also, after several complaints they still have not addressed people hanging out in the back parking lot drinking until all hours. One of the "perks" to the complex is free wi-fi internet, however the signal is so weak you cant seem to stay on more then 15 min. with out getting booted off line.
I think the apt. complex is nothing special,the pool is nice and they are putting in a new "state of the art fitness center" however that has been put off for 2-3 weeks, then 2 more months now it is going to be another 2-3 months just to get it opened. However they advertise like it is already in, along with the pool that is closed until the end of June!
Save your self some aggravation and and keep looking!

First of all, I know for a fact that they do not allow Pit bulls at this property. Whoever told you that they did was lying. Unfortunately they have ignorant residents that sneak them in. And how are they supposed to get rid of them if no one reports them? Second of all, I asked them and they said they never knew anything about the pool being closed until the end of June! It opens on Memorial Day weekend and thats only because that is the city's restrictions! I personally think that before you start bashing the people that provide you with a place to live, you need to think about what all they have to deal with. Granted, they take the time to try and provide you with the best personal service they can, but look around you! There is alot going on! And what makes you think that the fitness center not being done has anything to do with them? Do you think that they are the ones going out there and building it? NO! If you knew anything about construction, you would be eating your words right now. And by the way, if you were paying any attention when you were moving in, you would have listened when they said that they provide free wi-fi around the POOL AREA ONLY! And it is not their responsibility to pick up after your animal's S*@$! Again, its the rest of you ignorant residents that make this place such a disaster! Why don't you try to do something to improve to pathetic existance in this community by shuting up and doing your part!

The "ignorant resident" comment is a direct quote that I heard myself from someone in the office when they basically cursed me out on the phone. I am an "EX" resident after they blew their lid from an incident that occurred at the property. I am so relieved to be free from this community. It is really pathetic that a person who represents a community as "managment" acts in this way. If I acted like this at my job when I got upset, which is in healthcare, people would be suffering right now and so would I because I would be FIRED! QUIT THE JOB IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT! People are going to complain- you are in a job where you have to try to satisfy them- deal with it. People complain in my job and I have to. What makes you the exception to the rule?
