My lease will be up this summer and I am leaving. It DID start off nice, but in the last year, I've seen and heard awful things.

The apartment I moved in to is beautiful and very spacious. The community has a very modern appearance with most modern apartment amenities like a pool, fitness facility, movie theater.


The first problem I encountered was parking. They do not have enough parking spaces for residents themselves not to mention guests.

Covered parking is available for a fee. You do not have to purchse a covered space, you would just have to park wherever there is a non covered space. My building has only 4 non covered spaces for 28 units. I was told to either purchase a space or find a place to park, even if it meant parking on the other side of the complex. I am a woman and at night I do not want to walk far to reach my door. Management did allow me the cost of a covered space to be included in my current rent cost, but that still does not help when I have family visit and they have no where to park.

Also the property is infested with silverfish bugs. They are virtually harmelss, but there are too many of them. Maintenance sprays, but they must have a colony built in the walls because they keep coming back.

Management turnover is high, which either means they do not get paid enough for what they have to deal with or they are not willing deal with the problems, and pass them off to the next person. This lead to more promises being broken. Such as monthly socials by the pool and the theater showing movies once a month for the community to enjoy. Both were promised but never provided.

Needless to say while I was completing my application I felt very welcomed and was confident I had chosen a safe, nice environment.

During the winter months heard at least 3 reports of home invasions. The management did notify residents of two of these instances. I saw the police conducting their investigative work for one of the instances. There was also a kidnapping that was reported on the news that management didn't inform residents about.

It could be a very nice place to live, but some changes should occur first.
