I have no problems with the apt. itself; it's the neighbors. They are loud, inconsiderate, and rude. I wore earplugs the first three months just so I could sleep. Loud music, yelling outside, beating and banging on the floors and walls, it's just miserable. There is a lot of crime here, and I worry about my personal safety just going to and from the car or getting the mail. Noisy kids are playing soccer, riding bikes, and running in the middle of the street, and you have to be very careful not to hit one of them. Parking is just awful, unless you rent a covered space for another $40 a month. Otherwise, if you get home after 11pm, forget it. My lease is up in two months, and I am ready to move. The rent here is relatively cheap, but it's true, you do get what you pay for. If I have to pay another $200 a month to live among a better class of people, then so be it.
