Lived here over two years. This place was borderline-safe for a time, but new managment/ownership has begun to let the thugs in. Not a place for families or single women, the parking lots can be scary at night. Noticeable increase in police cars/crime scene vans on the premises, some B&E, armed robberies, stolen vehicles, etc... Aside from the ghetto bird buzzing your apartment every night with spotlights, you're also right next door to the savages at Cross Creek. (a targeted enforcement area) Brand new apts going up on Sardis Rd., OFF of Independence Blvd, would check them out first. (or Paces Commons) Management here leaves a lot to be desired. The manager who is out on maternity is very good, but her underlings leave a lot to be desired. Anyone who doubts my take on the crime, see for yourself at http://maps.cmpdweb.org/cfs/Default.aspx.
