I have been living in Deerfield Crossing for a little over a year, and in the beginning, I found living here to be a very pleasant experience. I wasn't here to experience the turn over rate of management in this complex, however, my experiences here now are so different and rather unfair since the manager that was here was fired, I am not fully aware of the reason that she was released, however, I do feel like the charges against her were unjust, I have seen her be nothing but fair and honest. While living here, I have also experienced a change in the maintenance staff, and honestly, there has been more work done effectivley than before, however, the attitude and stability in how one of them interacts with the tenants as well as a fellow maintenance worker is questionable. I understand not getting to close to the tenants, however, being rude is also not acceptable. I also have an issue with this curfew that has been placed on adults that pay their rent, how is it that if there is not a public disturbance, why are you sent to your apartment like you are in a college dorm, I feel that as long as you are respecting everyone around you, there should be no set curfew set on ADULTS. I do not have a problem with recognizing when a situation is good, however, I also know how to acknowledge when things are not good. People should be treated like people when they are acting as such and locked down like prisoners when they act that way. I know that I am the voice of many in expressing these concerns, I have talked to others that share the same views. I look back to when I first moved in, and with the previous manager I saw a wonderful change, that was encouraging to me, so I don't know what someone else saw, however, I do know that things were so much better then. We are suppose to be a community coming together and not one that is divided like it is doing now,,, man, one person should not have that much power to cause confusion in one set community. As a business, I feel that the company needs to be evaluated, because obviously there are some problems there as well, there is no way that one apartment complex should have this many issues in Management, I'm not perfect, however, know when you have a good thing and hold on tight. With the changes that have been made around here, I see more people moving out due to being disappointed with some of the strict rules and the way that people are being treated, man, I even heard about a lady that lives out here being told that she can't even sit in the back of her van after 10pm, now that's just the craziest thing that I have ever heard of, what has this world come to. Anyway, these are just my views on the matter, I guess that's just the way the cookie crumbles...

I totally agree with this review. The maintenance has issues. I have lived here for the 3 years and it is time to go. They have rid the management of 2 great managers since I have been here. I don't know what this property owning is trying to achieve but there methods are flawed. Due to the current changes and good things thrown my way I am happily moving on.

YES I agree with this review yes the maintenance has issues, and get rid of the great managers we did have. I have Lost Respect!!!
