If you enjoy living in the middle of no-where you will enjoy the Fieldstone Apartment Community. I thought I would be able to tolerate this type of living situation, but quickly realized a young, professional person did not fit into this community. I became depressed and unhappy, and decided to relocate. My Fieldstone lease would end in May. In February I found a new job and informed the Fieldstone apartment staff. I explained to them I had to relocate for my career and personal happiness. I asked them if it would be possible for them to attempt to find another resident to lease my apartment early to enable me to get out of the lease, at least a few weeks early. I gave them 4 months notice. They were so un-helpful, not sympathetic, and practically rude. They refused to look for another resident to take over my lease. I moved regardless, and still paid for my empty apartment for 2 extra months. For all I know, Fieldstone apartment management did find another resident to move into my old apartment, during the time I am still paying rent, and could be making double rent currently. Sure, this is legal. But, is this ethical' Of course not! I would NEVER recommend this community to anyone, the management will smile to your face, and then stab you in the back. Renter beware.

So you had a bad experience! This was your fault not the fault of the southern people. You should have thought about that before you decided to move. Were they suppose to bite the bullet for your mistake?
