Well, I read the other reviews and thought I would chime in (they all seem accurate, except for the one claiming there are rednecks here, I'm not sure what apartments they are referring to... but not here). I am a young guy in law school at UNC Chapel Hill and my girlfriend lives in Greensboro. Mebane is very boring, but this is one of the two best complexes to live in BY FAR in Mebane (the other, Stony Brook, was too much rent).

It has a great pool, ample parking, nice grounds, and the staff puts on a few programs a year, plus many children live here if you are a young family looking for that type of environment.

On the other side, the trash pick-up system is inadequate (one dumpster for the entire complex!), the lights are on all night, and the staff does seem facially pleasant, but not too happy to accomodate (though the maintenance people are QUICK and DEPENDABLE, had my AC fixed in less than 24 hours!)

So, as far as Mebane apartments go, this is likely the best bang for your buck.
