This year, the worst thing EVER occured to the the tenants of the Northwood community...The best manager and maintenance people we ever had left when new owners came in with our new company to manage our apartments. You would not believe how many people took off without a word. I saw a moving truck everyday and the people that stayed only did so because Mocksville doesnt have many decent rentals. If Lane company would have tried to keep our old manager here then things would still be GREAT. Now once again the community is not clean AND IS VERY UNSAFE...people are bitchy and the sense of neighborly love has been lost. No one rides through at night, calls to check up on you or goes out of their way to make you feel at home which we got from the previous company. I don't know what idiot wrote the previous rating (THE NEW MGMT. COMPANY, I'M SURE) but I dont see ANY improvement. The service here has sharply declined and I intend to move. This company raised our rents and are money hungry and unfair. Previous mgmt. understood the economy here and ran applications with a criminal check. Now I am scared to get out of my car. Previous maintenance was great...now everything is so stiff and formal and no one knows what a smile is unless they are taking your rent early!!!
My suggestion is to try Mocksvilla or move to Clemmons where you have a better quality of choice!!! It's sad to lose that "At Home" feeling :(
