I just moved in and I regret it already. The walls/floors/ceilings are paper thin, parking is miserable, and neighbors are loud. The facilities are nice and the actual apartment seems well built and is laid out very well. My neighbors are incredibly noisy (loud cars, voices, stereos, tv's, doors slamming, etc) and for 5 days I haven't been able to get to sleep at a decent hour because of noises from other units. Go somewhere else... the apartment may be nice, but between neighbors and parking, you'll regret it.
In addition, I asked to terminate my lease and ------ was fine with it. She said that they would call me when they found another renter for my apartment. Evidently she found another renter, but she didn't call me until two days before the new renter was scheduled to move in! Two days! Seriously, I received a call on one day and ------ (the receptionist) told me that I needed to be out by noon the next day. They never provided written notice, never apologized, and the painters were waiting in my apartment BEFORE noon the next day... before my belongings were moved, and before they were scheduled to arrive. ------, --------, and ------ were almost hostile during my last few days there.

Apartments are not known to be soundproof, nor are they advertised as such. It is always unfortunate when someone has a bad experience with this particular issue. If there truly is a noise issue, above and beyond reasonable everyday noise expectations, let your management office know. That is what they are there for and hopefully they will do their best to alleviate the concern.

Thank you for your response. In fact, I contacted the management office seven times about my concerns. Each of the seven times they promised resolutions that they did not fulfill. They promised to put a letter on the door of each apartment around me (including mine), they promised to send a stern letter to every person in the building, they promised to come monitor the noise the next day, and they promised to ask the people to leave should the noise continue. The management never put a letter on/in the door of our units, never did they come monitor the noise, and never did they write a stern letter to the entire building. In fact, I attempted to address the issue directly with my neighbors. They were incredibly rude, and for the next few weeks they were louder, stayed up later, and slammed their doors more than ever before. Overall, the management at AG was incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful. I still live in Mooresville and steer everyone away from this apt complex because of how unhelpful the management was -- the issue is not that my problem wasn't resolved, the issue is that they didn't even ATTEMPT to resolve the problem.
