This is the only apartment I have lived in (and I've lived in several) where you can actually hear EVERYTHING that goes on in your neighbors apartments. The installation in the apartments is very poor, although management says it's up to code. If you have children, I suggest you do not live here. There is only one pool and many apartments. The playground is non-existent now that they built more apartments on it. It is unsafe to let your children play outside because the students that attend the technical school nearby speed through the apartments carelessly as they rev the engines on their "hot rods". And the students create a lot of riff-raff around here, so I wouldn't trust children to play outside around them. If you like a dormatory atmosphere, then this is the place for you, since the technical students have taken over. Late parties all week long, drinking in the parking lots, beer cans and trash thrown all over the road, police in and out of here ALL THE TIME. And management doesnt seem to ever do anything about it. Not all the students create problems, a lot of them are very respectful, but the large handful of them that do cause problems, ruin it for those who don't. These nice, fairly new townhomes and apartments are turning to trash. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and I know a lot of residents who are leaving for the same reasons. The pond is a disgusting mosquito trap, it's more like a bacteria infested swamp. The apartments look nice from an outside view, too bad reality hits you soon when you move in. It's just not worth the amount of rent they charge. Check with the police department about how many times they are in and out of here before bringing your family to Talbert Woods.
