I moved into Talbert Woods in January. Because of reviews online that stated there were noise problems with the college kids, I was reluctant. No worries, I had no issues at any time with loud cars.
The staff is super. That is important to me. I'm a 50 woman and did not want a management company who acted as if they were doing ME a favor by renting to me. No worries with this company. They were always courteous and made me feel welcome.
The only downside to these apartments are the upstairs/downstairs walls. I never did hear the people next to me, although sometimes they would have their door cracked and I KNEW their TV was a little loud, you couldn't hear it inside..but the upstairs/downstairs sounds were horrible. You can hear coughing, sneezing, music, and when the guy upstairs would vacuum, it sounded like it was right down my hall. So my suggestion is, if you are getting the one-bedrooms, try to get one with no tenants upstairs...or maybe get the upper unit (although I have to believe, if I could hear him cough, he could hear me cough).
I enjoyed the Talbert Woods apartments overall. I'm planning on doing a home remodel and will go back to those apartments during the time I need to be out of my house.
