I guess it should have been a sign when the leasing agent on my first visit handed me the keys and said here's a map, go look for yourself. I'm in property management and that is the biggest no no. Then when I moved in we had like 5 work orders off the bat. And have called in countless ones since. My A/C is still not working properly to this day. Maintenance has been out to look at it about 4 times. This past time I placed a work order for 3 things and it has been 3 weeks and still no one has shown up to fix it. Someone even called about a week and a half in to follow up to make sure they were completed and I said no. I figured at that point I would be top priority since I had been neglected. Well every day I come home and still no one has been there. Now I'm getting ready to reach the 4 week mark. There comes a point where you just give up calling. One time maintenance came in to fix my A/C and set it down to below 50 when fixing it and never turned it back up before leaving. When I came home from work I could literally see my breath. Outraged, I called the office and figured they would provide some sort of compensation. Umm no. They do not know what good customer service consists of. No wonder the price was so low below market rent....no one wants to continuously stay there. Don't do it----don't move in!
