I got a new job and was sent to the Raleigh area for 11 months for training.....unfortunately I rented an apartment at Bexley Park. Here's my story of the biggest nightmare for an apartment complex. If you want unresponsive management that is no help under any circumstances then rent here. If you live in Spring Garden forget about parking unless you like to walk 5 blocks to your front door,so if you park on the curb b/c there are no spaces they either tow you or fine you $300. When you speak to management about this problem.....they are rude and indifferent and they tell you there's nothing they can do because you can't expect to park close to your apartment. Then the move out what a glorious day until they management at the office is so brain dead that you give them your new address in California 3 times and they send your final paperwork to Australia and then threaten to take you to court when you haven't even seen a bill. The worst is that I called numerous times over 2 months about my final water bill etc.....not 1 time did I ever get a call back. Then they had the aduacity to claim my apartment was damaged by a pet 2 months after I was gone! So I am still trying to figure how my pet damaged an apartment he was never in......due to my training schedule my dog resided with my mother in Ohio for the 11 months I was in those cursed apartments. The icing on the cake is that the property manager (who until this day has never returned a call) was called by the headquarters in VA. She told them there was nothing visually wrong with the apartment but that I am still supposed to pay for damages that are unseen. Who's ever heard of that' In short.....run like hell and rent from someone honest or you will wish you did!
