I think that most people aren't motivated to write unless they have had a very good experience or believe they have had a very bad experience, so it is hard to get a good opinion from this website.

I moved here as it was the best deal in Morrisville or Cary, the 2 towns I was deciding between after living in Raleigh apts for 4 years. The 2 bedroom apartments are big for the cost of rent, which I got a great deal on when I moved in.

Open floorplans, crown molding, marble entry and garden tubs are lovely extra touches that aren't necessary but very nice! I hadn't been able to tour a 2 bedroom before I moved in, as they were all rented (which I think is always a good sign). I knew the airport was nearby and the train tracks were across the street, but as one resident I spoke to before moving in noted, and I found to be true, they are non-issues after a couple days of living here. The apartments are insulated enough that I really don't notice anymore. Plus I kind of like the train =)

Maintenance requests can be made online (rent can be paid online as well), which is convenient, and have been filled same day or within one day. They properly verify all residents moving in, which may have been inconvenient for me, but it's definitely a good thing. It seems that the residents are all professionals, alot of families with a few students and the parking lot is literally empty during the day. Parking is definitely a problem for a few of the buildings at night (look at the amount of spaces for the amount of buildings immediate to them.) Other buildings have 2 lots. The staff has completely turned over only once in the 2 years I've been here, and I like the new staff better anyways.

Landscaping is fine, the guys do come at least once a week, but I am usually at work. They keep the stairways and entries very clean.

I feel VERY safe. For some reason I have never been uncomfortable walking my dog at 1 am or 4 am. I haven't heard of any car break-ins either. I can't hear my neighbors in their apartments, ever, so I would highly recommend the 3rd floor if you can get it, as the woman below me complained about my 30 lb dog before she knew what was making the noise. Since I've talked to her, there have been no problems, but the ceiling/floor insulation apparently isn't the best.

A BIG negative for me (but it's incredibly subjective) is that from about April to November, groups of kids with their moms play outside from about 3pm to dark. I think it is great that a group of moms can sit outside and talk while their kids play, but it is the constant shrill screaming of about 4 or 5 kids which is literally constant, and so incredibly loud that I can hear it in every room of my 2 bedroom apartment. I have to work in my bedroom until dark as my office is right above them. I've spoken to the moms nicely, but it hasn't made a difference. They aren't doing anything wrong so the apt. manager could only let them know they were disturbing people (also didn't make a difference). I just know my Mom NEVER would have let me act like that, my goodness! Completely unnecessary. Sorry for the rant, but that is really the only problem I have here, and I can always use my earplugs.

I LOVE the area, being on the golf course offers great views if you are on that side and great neighborhoods, and Morrisville Pkwy always has people running and biking on the sidewalks.

They are very pet friendly, there are at least 5 disposals for waste with bags scattered along the complex. Some people don't pick up dog waste regardless, but this happens everywhere, and maintenance doesn't let it accumulate.

Please contact me if you have any questions, as I feel this complex is getting an unearned rap on this site. If it wasn't a 40 min commute to my new job, I would renew my lease for a third time. It is close to everything, and definitely feels like home.
