Contrary to what a previous poster said, I have NOT had a TERRIBLE experience at Bexley at Preston but I am still unhappy with their management. I still live at Bexley at Preston and I count the days until I can move out. To begin with, we were given the run-around regarding who would be approved for the lease. Being that I am in college, it was understandable for me to be denired but they also denied my 2 roommates (who both have great jobs and good credit) and AGAIN denied my parent w/ me as a co-signer (& also denied my one of my roommate's parents). The parent that was denied has nothing short of awesome credit history and a stable, well-paying career so we were left baffled to say the least. Then out of NOWHERE we were all the sudden (all 3 of us) approved, no co-signer needed. The only reason I can assume they might do this was to gain and keep the application fees of somewhere around 5 or 6 separate people in the end. More than once they have tried to overcharge us for rent only to say "Oh sorry, we just didn't have it on record correctly". Also, on more than one occasion I've gone into the office to pay rent or to pick up a package and they ONE person working has been outside the back door smoking and talking on her cell phone. Most often she doesn't look to see if anyone is inside waiting for assistance until she finishes her phone call and/or cigarette. I tried to overlook the reviews of people who posted saying that Bexley was a money-grubbing complex but now it's hard for me to even give them the benefit of a doubt.

Nice grounds, nice neighbors, nice area in general but honestly I'd rather live in a mediocre looking complex with people who don't mind doing their job efficiently.

Incompetent management who DON'T mind taking every penny they can from you.

I agree with Ms. Anonymous that the grounds, neighbors, & area nice, but I disagree about the staff. There are always 2-3 persons in the Leasing office to attend your needs, in addition they always ask about my satisfaction with the service & apartment. I doubt that they would deny 3 applicants that have GREAT Credit, seems silly. My move in process was smooth & easy, & my credit is in the mid 600's. Sincerely, Blanca
