Beware! Your Utilities will be thru the roof!

While the convenience and view of Bexley at Preston are great, Our utilities are simply off-the-chart. In the winter, the master bedroom cools to 50 degrees without the assistance of a space heater, with the furnace running all night and set at 68. Flip that now that it's summer. Try 87 in the master bedroom with the A/C running constantly and set at 72. The outer walls and ceiling stay cold to the touch in the winter and warm in the summer months. Closets and the laundry room are insufferably hot now. I've talked to other residents in this building and **ALL**l units on this corner experience the same issues with the first floor even having two window units the first part of summer.
If you could get comfortable it'd be a whole lot easier to stomach the $300/month electric gas bills. Add insult to injury, the only response we got from Maintenance at first was "it's cold outside" before summer set in, and we did get a freon leak "sealed", and components replaced on the all original outside compressor unit. Still, on a warm day like today, there's no part of the apartment where you're not in a clammy sweat.
If you enjoy hearing your HVAC run 24/7, and your wallet being drained dry, you'll love it here!
