Would stay here if rent wasn't going up

I've lived here for a little over a year. I had a problem changing my lease when Phillip was the manager (he told several blatant lies and when caught red-handed he would just make up more). He is no longer there. I can only hope he was fired.
Since he has been gone, I have not had a single issue. Parking is adequate. I haven't had any noise problems from my neighbors. I feel very safe here, and feel that my vehicle is safe also. There are rarely any kids playing in the parking lots or anything like that. Outdoor lighting is sufficient.
The grounds are well kept. Landscaping and mowing is done often, and the building look pleasing enough.
I really don't have a single complaint about this complex. It's about the 6th one I've lived in the past few years, and I've enjoyed it the most. However, they are increasing the price of rent when my lease is up and I am most likely not going to renew it. They are also increasing the price of my pet rent, which I think is just a ridiculous attempt to squeeze a few more bucks out of me, especially since we had to put down a very large non-refundable pet deposit!
The best thing this place has going is its location. On the inside it is just like any other apartment with average construction, fixtures, etc. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who thinks the price is fair for them.
