Car got broken into....security gates FAIL

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
Two months ago, someone broke into my car and stole my GPS from the glove box, sun glasses, and CDs. Making matters worse, the thief shattered the window which ripped the leather seats of my 2008 Nissan Altima! I just bought this car last year :(
The office refused to break my lease, and now I m stuck here for 10 more months. So much for the security gates. This is by far my worst apartment experience ever.
