Good apts but beware of outrageous water bill

The apartments here are pretty nice and its pretty quiet. I've been enjoying my stay here up until they switched the water company from ISTA to AUM. My water/sewer bill more than doubled!! I understand it was a 42 day billing cycle but 12 days should not make a bill more than double. AUM has so many fees other than just the basic water and sewer. I really hate the change. My water/sewer bill was significantly much higher than my electric bill and I don't even use my water that much. Considering the state of the economy, I wish they would've thought twice before switching to a more expensive company to get the same exact water. It was a senseless move. I initially thought there was a mistake on my bill but my neighbors have complained of the same thing. Hopefully they will switch back to ISTA eventually but more than likely my lease will be up and I will leave before that change can occur. :-( The complex is nice but who wants to pay a crapload for water/sewer when the complex down the street has free water/sewer'
