Moved here late last year and overall it hasn't been a bad place to call home. Booked strictly from the net since I moved from out of state. The community actually looked better in person, which was a pleasant surprise. Mostly everything I read in advance was true though. There are trains/plains, but the noise (middle of the night usually) doesn't last long. My apartment has been clean, yet the walls are so thin. I'm in a loft and if you don't like A LOT of natural light, don't move in. There is no way to block the light, and there is a lack of privacy due to size of the windows. Overall, the layout of the apartments are very nice and the location is excellent. Drawbacks: Having to haul my trash in my car for months, then told to pay $30 for valet trash service. Cheap building materials (cabinets/countertops). The loft kitchen is very small, with very little counter space and a few cabinets. High garage rental fees ($100)and there shouldn't be a mandatory cable fee

Update January 2008. Last fall I did terminate my lease and moved. It was an easy decision when I learned that my rent would be increased by nearly $300 a month. To go month to month, I paid nearly doubled the fee. The drawbacks I experienced were too many stairs in the loft unit for my weekly travel schedule, the hidden fees, and too small of a kitchen, LR and DR areas. The benefits I experienced living there were large bathrooms, efficient to heat/cool, attractive layouts, a business center and the location.
