Can you say ridiculous'! Okay. I was interested in moving into this complex, but I changed my mind QUICKLY. The staff was kind of "iffy". They all told me something different when I called about the apartment I wanted. The price was guaranteed for three days, but the apartment could not be held for one day. I think that is ridiculous!

To make matters worse, I would have had to pay $45 a month for cable. A great price if you want or need it, but I work for Time Warner Cable and I get it for FREE. I was told that this option was really not an option and that it was MANDATORY. But check this out... The RUDE woman told me that I had the option to choose whether I wanted to live there or not. What'! That was rude as hell.

Now, on top of the cable that I got for free, I would have to pay for the new Valet Trash service. Apparently, because everyone has been complaining they decided to remedy the situation, by charging everyone $30.00 a month to take out their trash. Now that is garbage if I ever it. I live by myself and I can take out my own trash. Now, when I asked if I why I had to get this service the RUDE woman told me that this was one of their amenities, like the gym and the pool. But the last time I checked, there was not a charge for either one. To make things even better my apartment would have been directly across from the sole trash bin on the property.

It was not a tough decision to not move into this community. Actually, I decided to do the Valet Trash guy a favor. I decided that if I was going to pay for trash pick-up, he was going to be picking up trash, whether I had trash or not. I was going to fill the bins with rocks in hopes that they wourd get rid of there silly Valet Trash Pick-up Service. Move elsewhere. There are so many nicer communities in the area.

Yes, its rediculous, they have to be idiots to say the "Valet Trash" is an amenity. They are also making alot of money off of us with the cable and trash fee!! They dont care about the residents, its the worst community I have ever seen in my life!!! And trust me I know, I'm in the business. They'll see eventually when their occupancy goes down, it may take a while but it will happen.

Agreed, the apartment renting biz is going to hell in a handbasket, I'm remiss as to what is really goin on these days! When I moved to this area to my first apt (7 yrs ago) I had the best experience renting, now the current market is just telling me its time to buy and be free of these property mgmt kids and kooks once and for all!

First, you have to understand that an apartment complex is still a business. You can't expect them to "hold" an apartment for you while you fiddle around trying to make up your mind and someone else legitimately needs a place to live but can't have it because you aren't SURE you want it, and want them to hold it. Second, are you kidding, about the trash service? That is such an immature thing to do, filling up trash bins with rocks. Grow up and address your complaints like an adult. You said you didn't even move in there, so what do you care about the valet trash service charge, and why are you sabotaging a community that is trying to provide a valuable service to their customers? If you don't like the amenities and services that you pay for, don't move there. It's that simple. Someone else might really want the cable and trash services that you're simply too cheap to pay for. I feel bad for the poor person who had to deal with your attitude, I would've told you that living there was your "option" too if you were being such a jerk to me.

Response to the last ------- dated 5.3.08...Yes Camden LAke pine where I live recently charging $30 a month only because I recommended it to an agent named tamara who is alcoholic slut...they prmote drinking...they only promoted valet parking is because i recommended it coming from camden world gateway in orlando...
