While I sit here and read the reviews from some of my fellow tenants, I partially fall out of my chair laughing at some of the ignorant/biased comments and at the same time get very irate that some people in the world call "foul" when they don't get a break from their rent for the most absurd reasons. Personally, I have been at the apartments since they opened 4 years ago. Furthermore, I have personally seen three managers oversee the property in that time and none of them handled the business nor cared for their tenants, personally, like Candice does!! She goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure every crack is repaired, every compensation is alloted and every tenant is happy. Just in the five months she has been here, she has provided more recreational activities and a more personal touch than anyone else. I am a school teacher and I postively know how it is to work in a public oriented arena. Everyone always trying to blame someone else for their personal unhappiness at the home front and trying to get something for free. When Candice took this job, the construction was already in place to insure a safe haven for everyone at Arringdon so you can't blame her for the builders' errors. Also, for the location, price and quality of people here at Arringdon, IT IS the best place to rent in the Wake/Durham County area! You are basically 15 minutes away from the heart of Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill for all kinds of entertainment. It baffles me that people think just because they make a complaint about something with no validity, that monetary compensation will make up for what ever is wrong. Essentially, how can a half of month's rent off comparably substitute for your assurance of the mold not forming or the landings not falling. It is in everyone's best interest that this construction take place and it is supposed to be over within the next two weeks. With that being said, what's your next soap box going to be' The sun setting on the wrong side of the apartment or maybe the wind draft created by the beautiful adjacent wooded lots' Either way, I wish everyone who has complaints, work a public job and oversee 600 peoples' personal living space and see how they accomodate everyone!!

I frequent the site periodically and completely agree with the school teacher. I have been here, going on three years now, and not once have have I had a problem with getting something repaired (only two minor things in three years) and have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Candice! Furthermore, Candice is always available when I, and my friends, need to speak with her concerning a particular matter. Also, I agree with the teacher's perspective on how to rate something/someone if you haven't worked a comparable job, "You can't judge the food, if you haven't tasted it!!" The current, soon to end, construction going on is something provided by the company to insure everyone's well-being and safety. It's not like the government, when they raise taxes to pay for unforseen problems because the rent has stayed the same! I truly LOVE living here and DO NOT plan on leaving any time in the near future! I have been on this earth for 53 years now and for all of those who insist on getting a break or something for free for no reason, walk outside, breathe the air and be thankful that you live in America and not overseas somewhere there is bombing going on!! Be thankful you are in America and stop taking advantage of it!!
