They are awful, too expensive and they don't budge at all if you need something.
They like to use the "Fair Housing" we have to treat everyone the same speech.
If your family is not on the lease, they can't go to the pool unless you are with them. Let's face it even if it does say it in the lease and they are not bothering anyone, what really is the big deal'

Also I have lived here for 12 months and out of that 12 months I don't think there was a full month that all gate were up and working properly. Right now 2 gates are down, so anybody can drive in. It has been like that over a month.

Nice to have a washer and dryer but they are cheap and don't get the clothes clean that well, thank god for bleach and Oxy.

I had an ant problem, and they claimed they had the man out to spray, it took 3-4 trys, and I still see ants.

I read the rest, no you are so very wrong. First my kids and family are not rif raft, at this very moment 2 gates are broke, off the hinge and if you can't see that you my friend need glasses or cataract sergury. As far as my cleaniness I served in the Navy, and just me cleaniness is drilled into you and I'm a very clean person and so is my family. Finally you need to read your lease agreement again. Not only do they require a 60 day notice you have to go into office to sign the notice. If you want out of your lease, they will not let you out. They will sue you and take you to court, and charge a $1000.00 dollars up front. You may like it here and goody for you. But I don't and I don't recommend it at all, not for the price. Not to mention privacy, they have camera's all over the place watching. I don't mind that because I don't do wrong, but to use it to spy is another reason not to live here. Trust me if your family is at the pool and you are not they will call you up the next day.

I have lived out here for several years and I must disagree with what you are saying. I love the fact that you must be with your guest at the pool. I pay to live here and I dont want rif-raft hanging out at the pool. The management now enforces this "rule" and the pool was great this past summer. Not like previous summers when anyone was allowed in. You must be the person who had guest throwing furniture in the pool. I sure was glad to see management kick them out. Gates not working? You must be at the wrong place, not Indigo. I can see the the gates from my unit. The only times the gates have not been working is when there have been parties at the clubhouse and they leave them open. I know this, because the office was graceous to leave them open for me one night when I rented the clubhouse. And I dont know for a fact, but they were propped open when we were having a lot of wind. Maybe that is what was wrong with them. Maybe if you clean up after yourself (and your family), you would not have ants. Indigo is a great place to live because there are rules and the management enforces them. Great location. Close to Brier Creek and RTP. If you dont like it here, then maybe you should find another place to live. Obviously you like it enough to still be here and you know that you cant find anything this nice for this price in this area. They only require a 30 day notice, go ahead and give your's so that those of us that enjoy living here can continue to do so.

I do recall an occasion where the front exit gate was broken and propped open for a few days but I don't remember that being a continuous problem. I also didn't notice a bunch of cameras around, except for some at the front entrance which seemed like normal security precations to me. Granted I wasn't washing kids' clothes, but mine were always cleaned fine. It was a while ago that this was posted, so maybe the policy has changed, but they require a 30 day notice. I know because I recently submitted it. I did have to turn the form in in person but I don't see how that's an inconvenience. As far as family/friends in the pool, I'm okay with the policy. I don't think anyone's kids should be there without parent/adult supervision. I've never seen any office staff patroling the pool for unaccompanied non-leaseholders, so unless someone is causing trouble I doubt anyone would notice.
