I recently moved out of the smallest one bedroom which I lived in for two years. Overall I had a very positive experience and would suggest this complex to others. It was my first place after college and it suited my needs very well.

Pros:
Everything was clean and the appliances worked fine. I had very few maintenance issues other than my dishwasher misbehaving once and they came and fixed it the next day. Never any bug problems. I really liked that it came with a washer and dryer and had a large bathroom. Ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room were also a plus as well as large windows. Crown molding was a nice touch. The staff was always very friendly when I spoke with them. For the most part it's a quiet neighborhood, no crazy parties or anything, mostly yound professionals and small families. Always plenty of parking spaces. I would frequently walk to the grocery store/CVS when the weather was nice. It's also a short drive from the Brier Creek Shopping Center.

Cons:
My apt was only 535 sq ft. Once I got a little creative with storage and layout, it was the perfect size for just me, but I don't think I could live there with a child/significant other like I observed some of my neighbors doing. I don't know if it's thin floors/ceilings or just the luck of the draw, but I lived under some pretty noisy people. I often wondered if there was a basketball game going on up there. It would decrease for a while when I asked them to keep it down. The front gate ocassionally turned into a clusterf*ck if people forgot their swipey thing or didn't know their code or how to use it. It was more of an inconvenience for my friends but would usually work itself out. The chairs in the pool area could use a good powerwash. The fitness center was satisfactory, but not spectacular. It seems like there was always one machine broken. I also experienced some pretty annoying/inconsiderate behavior by other residents in the fitness center, but I can't really hold the staff accountable for that. But there is a gym right around the corner if you have higher expectations.

Overall I will miss my cute little apartment. I only moved out so I could be closer to work in Raleigh. Indigo isn't what I'd consider "luxury living" but the grounds and buildings are well maintained and for the price I got a great cozy place to live.

what about the people in the fitness center was wrong???
From: MoQueen Date: 08/04/2009
I noticed a few different people who would use the treadmill and other machines barefoot, which grossed me out a bit. I never said anything because I'd feel bad if they just couldn't afford a pair of sneakers, but it still seems unsanitary to me to have sweaty feet all over common property. There were also a few occasions where large groups (6-8) of young guys would come in at night and basically horse around on the equipment. I never felt unsafe, but they'd get pretty rambunctious so it was more of a distraction.
