The walls & ceilings are paper thin...I could hear every step my upstairs neighbor took and could even hear people talking on the phone. Lots of dogs barking. ALso the noise from the nearby airport is extrememly loud with jets flying overhead practically non-stop.

During a tropical storm in summer '05 the parking lot was completely flooded because debris blocked all the drains. The maintenance and management team made no efforts to clear the debris and as a result my car (along with several other residents') was flooded as the water level continued to rise. I took it upon myself, seeing that no one from the complex was going to do anything, to wade thru the lot clearing the debris from the drains. In less than 15 minutes the whole lot was drained. But due to their negligence my car was damaged.

Forget about your deposit they will find some way to keep it. They require 60-day written notice of intent to move out. And if you don't give them the full 60 days they charge you the price you'd pay for rent broken down by the day. They said I gave notice 3 days late and charged me $40 as a result...even though my lease wasn't up for another 2 months! Ridiculous policy!

If moving from out of state...you can bank on seeing one apartment and getting a different one when you arrive. I was shown an apt. on the second floor at the front end of the complex and arrived to find that I had been given a first floor apt. in the very back with a great view of the parking lot not the golf course!

The traffic around the area is terrible, so if you work anywhere but in Morrisville be prepared for a longer than expected commute. I worked in Durham only 13 miles away and had a 30-45 minute commute. Not much to do in Morrisville and everything pretty much shuts down around 10pm.

Rent was too high for what you get, and was increased in the year I was there. Expect high electic and water bills too regardless of what leasing agents tell you.

The pools are small, not well kept up and opened late. Requires renters insurace to rent there.

I could not wait to move out of Legends. The noise was my number one complaint. Noise from everywhere. I have lived in complexes before, but this was the worst. It must be due to poor construction because you shouldn't be able to hear someone talking on the phone over your tv when they live above you!! BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
