Just an fyi... When I was there this week I was told there was a $75 refundable holding deposit that was refundable until move-in date.

When I called this morning and cancelled the apartment I had on hold I was told at one point that they would mail me my refund. I called back and asked if I could pick up my old check instead since I checked my bank and it hadn't gone through yet. She said yes, but she'd have to get it from the person that deals w/ money if they hadn't already taken it to the bank. After those conversations I got a phone call from someone else that it wasn't refundable after 24 hours. Then the lady I dealt w/ before denied EVERYTHING.

Now they're telling me that I can't get the $75 back and they're 'looking into it'. Not sure what that means. . .
