I have lived here for almost one year and have loved it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the property is kept clean and well maintained, and the surrounding golf course makes for a beautiful view.

I have just one complaint -- the walls here are VERY thin. I live on the first floor, and we can hear EVERY LITTLE STEP our upstairs neighbor takes. He seems to stomp or march across the floor, rather than walk like a normal person does, and at night (and unfortunately, sometimes when I'm home sick and in bed during the day), we can hear them having sex. Yes, we're privy to some of their intimate moments, and it's pretty disgusting. We also hear them snore and flush the toilet, but those are not as big of a deal as hearing their bedroom romps is. I'm almost positive that there is a different couple "doing it" during the day than the people who actually occupy the apartment at night.

Anyway, I don't know how to address this issue to the rental office. I mean, it's a natural thing, ya know. You can't expect a person to stop having relations simply because they're renting an apartment with thin walls. But on the other hand, you shouldn't be loud enough that your neighbors can hear every little moan and bed thrust. I'd feel like a butt asking the rental office to handle the situation -- it's embarrassing for all three parties involved -- us, the upstairs neighbors, and the leasing staff.

So, my advice is, if you're looking for a great place to live and don't mind the thin walls, this is the place for you. The rent is reasonable, the staff is always pleasant, overall, it's a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors, and I'd definitely recommend it to my friends.

You just might want to invest in a good set of earplugs. =)

I AGREE!!! I just moved in a week ago and everything is wonderful here except the walls. I am on the first floor as well and I have heard my neighbors...sex, walking across the floor, showering and flushing the toilet. The community is beautiful and eveything is so convienient it out weighs the noise. I moved from a neighborhood that was busy city, so this is peaceful for me. I love Legends!! The apartments are spacious and very well kept.
