We were a bit nervous after reading the reviews about Archstone Preston and have found that most of them do not pertain to us. We have been very happy here. We have yet to hear one of our neighbors (although we are on the third floor). I have always been able to park just under my apartment. Everyone we have met has been very friendly. There are a lot of Indian families and the smell of their cooking can be strong outside of their apartments but they are nice families. The pool is always empty when we use it (even on weekends) which is a nice plus and there are grills surrounding the pool so it is a nice spot to spend the afternoon. The laundry room always has empty machines which is a plus because the water bills are high if you want laundry in your aparment ($2.50 to wash and dry a large load in the laundry room). I would definitely recommend this community to others.
