I had high hopes for this place when we moved in a few months ago but now I see that the management is mediocre and the apartments are new but certainly not luxury. Security is a major concern in the buildings since all of the entrys are supposed to be secured but one of the back doors is left open because maintenance refuses to fix it properly. The parking lot is overdriven by low performance cars with loud fart can mufflers that sound like eighteen-wheelers. The management team is apathetic and provides inconsistent service. Bring proof of delivery any time you pick up a package at the club house or management will say that they never received anything!

These are our experiences, thus far, at Southern Oaks. We hope that the management will take action and make real improvements in residents quality of live but we won't hold our breath!

I agree, it seems that the personal safety that I was sold and was looking for was all a Lie just to get me as a tenant. Although I was assured that this was a priority for the management group and the owners of the property. Also one of the other things that were important to me was a quite environment which I was advised was a priority to the management group and the owner. This is far from the truth, it is very noisy here. I have reported this many times and the management company seems to only care about how many people it can get into the apartments. They also advised me that they were very concerned about the type people that lived here and that this was an important premium to living here adding to my safety and peace of mind. This was also another one of those untruths that Southern Oaks is really good at telling and I thought I had found a place I could really call home but as soon as my lease is up I am out of here. I would not refer this place to anyone.

I am very disappointed and expected a little more from this apartment. It was a little more steeper than the rest , and I was hoping to get my money worth. They had nice floor plans and some of the staff was friendly. But, something was always broke in my apartment and had to make mutiple calls to try to get fixed. The location was great, but for this to be a new apartment it didn't seem that way. I think they put it up a liitle too fast. Would I suggest anyone to move here, You can but it will be at your own risk. It gets annoying when you have to keep calling every month. Its a job, that I don't have to keep up. I hate to post negative comments, but maybe after the first year they can improve some of there fundamentals.
