I lived at The Oaks at Weston 2 years ago and had a very pleasant experience.
The property is neat and clean, prices are within reason and I liked my neighbors who are still my friends. I did buy a house in Morrisville and am glad I did. There is nothing wrong with apartment living if you have good neighbors and a great staff.
Are there things wrong at the complex..sure..are there things wrong at my house...sure. Anyone that thinks living everyday doesn't have it's ups and downs has a real problem..I know nothing about dogs at the property..nor do I care.
I got my money's worth and now I send my employees there. I am in human resources in the Cary/Morrisville area and have never had anyone of my employees complain about the living arrangements. The sales staff has changed and aren't as professional as two years ago but hopefully that will improve. Maintenance and the Management have pretty much stayed the same which is a blessing. They are who I deal with most of
the time. I will continue to send my people there until I feel it isn't what I expect and what I pay for.

if you don't think that dogs pay for rent, then I doubt with your testimoney, sorry.I do agree that there is nothing perfect in this life. The place is very neat and nice, it is just the manager is a problem.

Pets do indeed pay rent ($18/month) and there is also a nonrefundable pet deposit which ranges from 300-450 depending on the size. The property is very clean and well maintained (except for dog poop which is the responsibility of the pet owner). I disagree with your comments on the sales staff, granted it is in their best interest to be friendly, from my experience - they are genuinely nice people and easy to deal with. I have not yet had problems with the management (and I hope it stays so), however, several of my neighbors have had valid complaints.
