Yep, lived here on a 1yr lease 'til buying a home. Not the cheapest place but not the most expensive. It's conveniently located to major roads. Although with construction and traffic that can move at a snails pace. It is one of the few apt complexes that have two exits though. Yes, manager can say one thing and do another that is truly a downside but if it's just a "temporary living situation" make the best of it. Try to negotiate the best rate before signing a lease! Prompt resolution to maintenance issues. If you take a ground floor apt be ready to have ac units at your windows for all 3 levels!
