Moving from out of state sight unseen can be a daunting task but I did my research. I also called and spoke to those properties that seemed to fit our needs. I will say The Oaks at Weston won hands down. From the first call to get details, etc., to our move in (we've been here now a few days) I've not had a better experience moving into an apt community. The landscaping is beautiful. The staff is more than nice, I will share that Rebecca has been exceptional and can't thank her enough for her efforts and kindness. We have a dog and a move like this can be tramatic for an animal...Rebecca brought us dog treats for our pooch and she loved them! As far as the living space, it's large enough (we have a three bedroom, 2 bath unit) and have an "upgraded" unit. However, where the fixtures seem to be brand new there are things that are not up to our standards. The floor under the carpet is extremely uneven, you sink down in some parts and being on the 2nd floor that makes me a little nervous. And the "upgraded" flooring is a clash w/the new fixtures...should have went with tile or hard wood floors in those areas. Would have made the apt feel more modern. Despite the little negatives we really like it here and are happy to have chosen this property. It will be our home until we purchase our house in the future. Oh...haven't had any noise issues w/neighbors as some say. I think that is hit or miss. Oaks at Weston, keep up the great work!
UPDATE: We recently moved out because our new home was completed. Overall we were glad to have chosen The Oaks at Weston especially for its central location and pet friendliness. However, there were some drawbacks for us. We lived in the building across from the trash compactor and you wouldn't believe how many tenants toss trash out at 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am, etc.! The noise from that machine is horrible and people have NO courtesy at those hours. The heavy steel door slams...you wake up, the machine going through it's cycle is super loud...you wake up. We initially signed a short lease (7 months) anticipating moving into our new home at some point. The break lease fee (2 months rent)is a complete rip off in our opinion. Of course we knew when we signed the lease this could happen but it still didn't make it any easier. I would recommend this property for those needing a place during a transition but not long term. We feel this way from our experience. Perhaps if we lived in a different part of the property our opinion would change'

It is nice property,I agree with you about Rebecca, she is nice. However few days is too early to judge about noise especially music. it would be more convince if you added "yet" after noise issues. I respect your opinion and would like you to do the same with others about their opinions.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and if I used the word "yet" than that means I anticipate having issues here. I don't operate that way. I STILL have not had any noise issues in our apt. I guess every unit/bldg is different. I'm merely giving my experience to date and will come back from time to time w/updates should I feel they change from what I originally wrote. Thanks though for the comment.
