I'll start by listing each individual category, then some more personal thoughts:
====================
Categorical Review
====================
- Parking: 1.33 spaces per unit with 1 space assigned per unit. The 0.33 comes from a number of "blank" spaces not assigned to a unit which you can park in. My wife and I each have a car; at worst, I've had to walk an extra 200 ft. from a blank spot to my unit.
- Noise: Occasionally hear kids and dogs during the daytime. No parties or anything during the night, EVER.
- Grounds: Kept clean and well-maintained. Recycling and plenty of garbage bins available.
- Safety: On cold winter days, you can leave your car running to heat it up without ANY worry it will be stolen. Haven't seen (or heard) of any safety issues while living here.
- Construction: New coat of paint / carpet when moved in. No major issues with unit itself. Some of the appliances are a bit dated, but they work great.
- Maintenance: Anything major, they are present the next morning. Anything minor, typically the next afternoon. 24*7 pager available as well for true emergencies. Polite, smart, and competent maintenance staff who actually listens to residents. Never had a mold or mildew issue with the unit I'm in.
- Staff: This really makes Treybrooke stand apart from all other apartment complexes. Staff actually cares about your well-being as a resident. Some staff care so long as the rent keeps coming in and they do their job. Folks in the office genuinely care and will chat with you if you have any concerns or questions.

Personal Thoughts
====================
- I've lived in about 10 different apartment complexes, several near NC State. This is by far the BEST I've lived in.
- Wonderfully pet-friendly. There is a 3-mile walkway not but 2 minutes from the complex that is great for walking dogs. Downstairs units also have a small / enclosed fenced-in backyard. We added a dog door so our two dogs could go outside during the day if they so chose.
- 10 minutes from RTP. Plenty of restaurants around. Several grocery stores (Aldi's, Food Lion, Wal-Mart, Indian) within 10-15 minutes.
- If you want something new and more ritzy, sure, go to Briar Creek and pay an extra $300-$500 a month. I'd just as soon pocket the difference and have of a "home" feel in an apartment complex such as this.
- The 1 bedroom is a bit cramped. It is ideal for young professionals just starting out, but would not recommend a family live in the one bedroom.
- The 1-bedroom has all the amenities you could need. Washer, Dryer, Fridge with auto-icemaker, Dishwasher, Garbage Disposal, Range. You don't know how much you miss them until you live someplace they aren't available.
- If you are new to RTP, you should live here. You won't regret it.
