My husband and I lived in Colony Village for a year and we hated every minute of it. First of all we had this kid across the hallway that would constantly throw his basketball against our door and down the hallway for extremely long periods of time not caring if people were sleeping or just trying to enjoy a quiet day. Second, we moved in during the summer and our AC was broken the entire time. We must have called them every single day for two months until they came to fix it. The worst part about this neighborhood is the majority of the people. A lot of the tenants are military and if you're not military...you're somebody else that annoys the crap out of the rest of the tenants. One night around 10:00, our bedroom window was open (we lived on the second floor)and a neighborhood hoodlum egged our window. I screamed so loud that my husband thought that someone had shot me. We had a crack head downstairs with two kids and she would leave her apartment with random men while leaving her kids in the house (alone). Several days my husband and I would go out to our cars only to find a new ding or scratch. We didn't have crappy cars either. We once had two kids standing outside underneath the spare room window trying to get our dog to jump out of the window. We would watch people get beat up in the parking lot from our balcony, moms would beat their kids outside in broad daylight, people would come and just sit and chill on the hood of your car and the worst thing of all...management has their heads so far up their butts that they couldn't give a damn. Rent isn't expensive, but then it shouldn't because your getting a whole lotta nothing. DO NOT RENT HERE...IT IS A NIGHTMARE AND DEFINATELY NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN!!!
