Lots Of Rules, No Enforcement & Anything To Make A Buck

It's easy to say that Pembroke Pointe is the best apartment complex in Pembroke. I will agree with that. But that little white speck on top of chicken crap, is still chicken crap. Since the management switched over in January, the place has gone downhill. It's been a "where can I make more money" from the management, charging for everything from extra nightstands to dog feces. With the exception of charges for silly things (lots of silly things), management does not enforce any of the rules they list. There is a pet policy that is not enforced (including a leash rule that is DEFINITELY not enforced), a noise policy that is not enforced and the security gates (which are supposed to make you feel secure) do not work 80 percent of the time. The new apartments (Phase II) are "pet free", although it is apparently very easy, very easy, to sneak a pet into that part of the complex without having to pay.

Even after all the positives I have listed above (sarcasm), I would recommend Pointe because it is better than the other crappy complexes in Pembroke, but I would suggest trying to find either a house or an apartment in Lumberton and make the commute every day. Although Pointe is extremely expensive, do not expect to get anything back from your investment other than a below average apartment with sub-par management.

If you consider improved security, better on site management and repair, university outreach, higher quality apartment cleanliness, and overall aesthetic appeal of the property and its landscaping going downhill...boy are you confused. Excuse my language, but ---- off and stop trying to tarnish the appearance of an overall wonderful apartment community because of your petty, personal problems.
