I just had to write and comment on the two previous reviews, that are no doubt written by the same person. I have lived here since fall of 2005 and these are the nicest apartments i've ever stayed in. Kathy, the leasing manager is really good and has earned every good review posted here. She truly cares about all of the residents and even knows you by name, not just "check no. 1325" and let's just say for arguments sake that the previous comment was legit...The Pines has an arrangment with the Pineville Police to be there neighborhood security watch and they do patrols on a regular nightly basis a few times a night, so all that person would've had to do was call and they would have been here in less than 5min. And what about that dumb ass comment about no-one getting shot....Hello....not everyone that lives in an apartment complex with diverse tenants is ghetto and like I said everyone here is very aware of the security and there hasn't been one incident since i've been here. In my opinon both of the reviews were written by a jealous leasing agent working for one of the nerby complexs that are truly getting bad reviews. Please do not let those two reviews taint your judgment of these apartments, but don't take my word for it...the best time to check on a perspective community is at night on a weekend real early around 1am or 2am and see for yourself. Oh and the maint. staff is great to...Brian and Jimmy...they work very hard to keep this place looking nice. You'll see them every morning outside cleaning up the yards and around the dumpsters. And they're very helpfull and responsive. The Pines has earned they're reputation as being one of the best apartment communities in the Charlotte area, I will be renewing my lease again for the 3rd year.

You are truly a moron. What's more plausible, that just like every other complex in the area this place has it's hosts of problems -or- there is a vast conspiracy being waged by other property management teams to discredit this one? If someone disagrees with you, and has a bad experience living there, they are jealous liars? Funny, because I remember vividly the noise and crime going on there. Whereas you didn't live there when we did, so you're pulling it completely out of your ass about what did/did not happen. The police do patrol there occasionally. And if you say it's more than occasionally then you're admitting to the complex's problems. Even still they can't be at all places at once (they still have to go to Ghetto Creek and Sabal Point). Nor can they be in an apartment at all hours to hear the noise going on upstairs. It's YOU that sounds like a plant! Telling stories to get more people to move in, as I'm sure there are vacancies left by some of the former tenants waiting on someone to post their bail.
