I moved into Sabal Point in 2002. I thought, hey this should be a good spot seeing as though Pineville is a small and good community. That is still the case, however Sabal Point is not a good community to live in. My biggest gripe is the mold. In the far back corner of the closet after only a few months, we found mold growing up the entire wall and even on our clothes. Mold grew in the base of the spare closet and up along all the windows and all over the shower. No matter what we did with bleach, the mold was in the walls. You have to sign a document that states Sabal Point it not liable if you get sick from the mold. WELL WHY DON'T YOU FIX THE PROBLEM!!! Take a good look at the windows and I bet you'll find beneath the layers of paint that will peel away is moldy and rotten wood. You'd think they'd keep up on these buildings. Lights never work, water heaters always break because they're so old and then they don't replace the carpet or padding, they just invite people into your home while your sleeping to dry it out. Again, must I say mold''' Nothing ever works and if they fix it, you can bet it breaks again. I'd rather have stayed in the bad neighborhood in East Charlotte. The drugs and crime were probably worse at Sabal Point anyway and at least I lived in a clean and healthy apartment.
