Small and Expensive but Conveniently Located

Years at this apartment: 1989 - 1994
This was the first apartment we lived in when we moved to Raleigh back in 1989. The location was great since I was attending NCSU.
While the living room and dining room are spacious, the bedrooms are tiny. Even the master bedroom could barely fit a queen size bed. The closet in the master bedroom was very small and there was no linen closet. The other bedrooms were smaller than most dorm rooms.
The college students in the community kept
the noise level up. There were many parties which always seemed to migrate outside.
The rent was the driving factor for our move. When it went up to $800 in 1994, we left.
