I couldn't believe how lucky I was when I found my apartment at Archstone Ridgewood. It was a great deal! Then I moved in, and realized why it was such a great deal. I complained about my carpet when I moved in. There were huge, obvious dog urine stains all over the living room. I told them the day I moved in. I ended up being charged for the carpet to be replaced when I moved out, even though it was there when I moved in and I made them aware of that. Everyone is loud. Don't expect to get any sleep on the weekends, because everyone likes to sit outside and play music on their car stereos. Dogs run wild all over the complex. My clothes were stolen numerous times from the laundry room when I was only gone a couple minutes. The staff is disrespectful and but will help when they get around to it. The trash compactor is always full and stinks! I wouldn't waste my time even looking at these apartments. It was my worst rental experience ever.
