Find somewhere else to live

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
When I moved to Gresham Park in 2002 it was so quiet, but in the last year things have really changed. The complex seems to be a race track -- fast cars and loud music. The pool which is suppose to close at 10 PM is the beach for a lot of people after 10 PM all during the week.
The buildings are constructed of brick and vinyl siding, but they are in need of a good cleaning. Last year, we got notice that they would be cleaning the buildings and changing the outdoor carpet. A year later, nothing has been done. About a year ago someone dropped food/sauce which splashed on the wall of the building, it has yet to be cleaned. It is really a terrible thing to see. Sometimes I am ashamed to have friends come over. Prior to change of management in 2002 when we had Drucker and Faulk, the grounds were always clean. Breezeways and steps of apartments were cleaned daily. The community was very quiet and a safe place to live. I have had to call the police to the apartment complex several times because of noise and suspicious people after hours.
Parking is also a problem. You have people coming to the pool taking away parking from people who live in the building by the pool. There needs to be assigned parking.
I will say that management and maintenance are very friendly, but Gresham Park needs a lot of work. I can promise you that I will not be renewing my lease.
