this place is the pits. where to start...

management: very nice and eager to get you to sign on. once you sign on, manager is extremely rude and tardy when needed. excuse after excuse. also: not straightforward abotu lease terms. make sure you ask them everyting before you sign. check this place out at night too before you think about moving here. if you live alone, think again before moving here.

safety: this place is full of sketchy people PERIOD. this area in and of itself has gotten bad, and the tenants at autmn ridge dont help matters from what i've been able to gather. leaving lights burned out on porches/doorways/staircases for weeks before fixing them. glass doors and windows do not have solid materials. again, if you live alone, do not move here.

apartments: be prepared to pay too much money for utilities. power bills here are outrageous no matter what floor you are on. floors are crap, you can hear everyting your neighbors are doing, you never feel like you have privacy. parking is out of control. people have their friends over and theypark where the residents should. not enough street lights in the parking lot on the evening either.

grounds: great so you can plant some flowers and you dug a hole and put a few dead fish in it. this place is ghetto no matter hw you look at it.

renewing lease terms/rates: BIG reason not not move here. unless you want your rent, as a "valued resident" to go up astronomically everytime you renew, dont move here.

i cannot strees this enough: i have been here almost a year, and i cannot wait to get out of here. maintenance uses cheapest things they can find to "fix" your problems. i've been to the hospital 2 times because their dishwashers dont even wash dishes thouroughly ( wont even get into how sick i was ), workout room is a joke, mailboxes are tiny TINY tiny, bunch of dumb kids living here with no respect to others ( and i'm 25 years old ) pool is crap cos it's got nothing but screaming bebe's kids running around all the time. buildings are old, utilities out of hand, not safe, not hospitable, not suited for anyone.

You went to the hospital b/c of your dishwasher? Come on! It's called...rinse off your dishes before you put them in! Apartments NEVER use high quality anything...that's why they are apartments. If you live in an apartment with high quality fixtures, etc.. you will definitely PAY for them in rent ($1000 ). Sounds like YOU need a house..actually you'd probably complain about that. And dude, if no one ever raised rent then no property management company would ever profit. The cost of living increases, therefore RENT increases. Get a grip!

I would not pay attention to this review if you are thinking about renting at Autumn Ridge. The management and maintenance staff is wonderfull. If someone gets sick because they didn't rinse there dishes off before putting them in the dishwasher whos fault is that. Also, it sounds like this person is an overall very miserable person and misery love company!
